The short bio

I write software and have been doing so as a career for over ten years. I've worked on all kinds of things from highway control systems to Flash cartoons to novelty cat apps.

I hear "you look familiar, have we met before?" and get asked for directions by random strangers way more than any one person should. I enjoy long walks, use a Mac, and write with the Oxford comma.

Future projects

What I do:

• Application development. Mac and iPhone. I used to be a Windows developer back in the old days but we won't speak of that.
• Interesting web projects. Custom web software development (Perl, PHP, Python, Ruby, Javascript, etc).
• General consulting. Help with requirements, specifications, and recommending the best and most efficient mix of technology for the job.

What I don't do:

• Design (developer ≠ designer)
• Attend boring meetings (possible exception for free food)
• Photoshop (except to add lots of lens flare)
